Profile

Leo’s entrepreneurial journey began at the age of five when he charged classmates to rent comic books from his collection.  Eventually that spirit led him to discover technology startups during his college years, where he experimented with payments and social applications within the realm of web3. Teaming up with his good friends, twin brothers Mark and Sam, Leo won multiple hackathons, which soon led the trio to co-found a startup and join Y Combinator’s W23 batch.

That company became Brewit— conversational data analytics agent that empowers non-technical teams to extract actionable insights. Through Brewit, Leo gained hands-on, company-building experience, from understanding the frameworks behind AI agents to developing go-to-market strategies. He also learned invaluable lessons from building, pivoting, and growing the company: resilience, iteration, and adaptability as a founder navigating the highs and lows of startup life.

Having been in founders’ shoes, Leo has a deep empathy for entrepreneurs and a strong understanding of the challenges they face. Today, at Foundation Capital, Leo is excited to explore AI-native applications and their potential to revolutionize workflows across the enterprise stack.

Leo holds a B.S. in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego, and has also pursued studies in data science to sharpen his technical skill set. In his free time, Leo indulges his love of music, from composing to karaoke, and enjoys mixing up new cocktails for his friends as an amateur mixologist. He’s also a poker enthusiast, always up for a game with his friends where strategy and fun collide.
