This year, RSA, the world’s leading cybersecurity conference, was back with a bang. Over 40,000 people attended: a more than 50% increase from last year. To mark the occasion, we hosted a bustling happy hour at our San Francisco office. The event featured not only drinks and networking, but also a lively panel discussion on the evolving CISO technology stack. Panelists included Hanan Szwarcbord, CSO at Micron Technology, and David Tsao, CISO at Instacart, with expert moderation by our very own Sid Trivedi.

Hanan Szwarcbord, CSO at Micron Technology
As Micron’s Chief Security Officer, Hanan is responsible for building and maintaining the vision, strategy, and programs necessary to secure Micron’s information assets, technologies, data and employee’s physical security. Prior to joining Micron in May 2021, Hanan served as CISO for Marvell Technology and Head of Global IT for Sapiens. Hanan serves as chairman of the Semi-Conductor Industry Association (SIA) cybersecurity work group and a board member for NexGen Cyber.
David Tsao, CISO at Instacart
David Tsao is the CISO of Instacart, an American grocery delivery and pick-up service. Prior to Instacart, he served as VP of Security Engineering at Marqeta and CISO of BYTON and Veeva Systems. David is also a founding board member of the Information Security Leadership Foundation and Security Tinkerers, two non-profit organizations aimed at mentoring and developing the next generation of security leaders.
